Subdomains are sections of your website that can exist as a separate site, whilst remaining under your main website domain name. They are mainly use to separate section of the same site
Subdomains are used to create separate sections of a larger website, such as: ‘blog.’, ‘shop.’ or ‘support.’ or to identify different versions/locations of a similar site, i.e. ‘winter.’, ‘summer.’ or ‘autumn.’.
There is no limit to the number of subdomains you can have on your website, and they do not require the purchase of another domain, but there is a total size limit that all your sites can use on the server.
